We have spent the last few months trying to assimilate into our new country, alternately jumping into the middle of town and trying our German, then retreating back to the army base and the land of Popeye's chicken and English. Things are infinitely easier now that we have a telephone, a car, a bed, a couch, and cookware. The last of our belongings arrived a month ago, and we are slowly unpacking. It's amazing how much we have, and how limited our storage options are.
We. Have. No. Closets.
We do have basement storage and an attic, but, ladies, gentlemen, I repeat - WE HAVE NO CLOSETS! I go to Ikea now to drool over the 1K+ Euro Kliderschranken, and long for the day when I can afford one.
It is a small price to pay for this view:

Finally!!! I've been wondering what you two have been up to.
Glad you made it to Amsterdam, that was one of our most favorite trips every. Everyone is so nice...and unbelievable beautiful.
